Default Adam Fleet Sales

Looks like Opel is expecting 20% of the Adams sales to come from fleet sales. The other 80% of adam sales Opel is forecasting to come from young and young at heart buyers. People who want their vehicle to reflect their individuality and their personality...

But aren't these two diametrically opposed. Fleet sales are inherently the same... while individuality is not....

Fleet sales, never thought the Adam would get that. I would be surprised if these are for police forces.

I doubt police forces, i think they are thinking more along the lines of car sharing services. Most of them I've seen are using smart cars or foolish little toyotas. the Adam would actually be a lot cooler than a smart buggy.

Taxis or police cars I can't see, but car sharing services seem like a perfect fit. They are along the lines of the smart cars that you see being used most often now, and the kicker is that they are actually better than smart cars. I would support seeing the Adam around as a car sharing vehicle.

And if the Adam is used for car sharing I think that that matches well with the young, show off your personality image that Opel is going for. Car sharing programs are very popular with young people, so it would end up being the same people who drive the fleet vehicles as the regular sale units.

you're right, for a car sharing service these would be great. with them already being great commuter cars there no reason why they can be used in a program like this

Its interesting now that we're on the topic of car sharing. I'm wondering if this is the future of the Auto industry. Where makers count on fleet sales more and more as the popularity of car sharing begins to grow.

and it doesnt just have to be small cars like the adam, even CUVs like the Ford Kuga are getting looked at for car sharing

car sharing is probably the best thing to happen, people just dont want to deal with the cost of ownership and everything that comes with real ownership of a vehicle. worry-free is always best

There is a huge surge in the amount of people who are signing up for these services. There is no sign of slowing down for the growth of that industry. If new car sales start to slump like they are in Europe, which I expect they since young people are less interested in buying cars, this could be the future of the auto industry. Nice little cars that are tailor made for city driving and sharing. I know that a lot of young people are fan of these services. I bet that Smart would be doing terribly if it weren't for all of the fleet sales that have occurred because of car sharing programs.
